This is Sarah’s earliest existing ‘masterpiece’ and some would argue probably her best piece of work to date. Sarah completed this painting when she was 3 years old. It was a special painting for her Mum who was in Hospital at the time. It has been created using a potato stamp, paint scraper and acrylics applied to wallpaper.
Then in 2005 Sarah won an Art Competition in an International Magazine with her painting Santorini Skyline, Acrylic on Canvas with Gold Leaf.
The adjudicator made the following comments about Sarah’s winning entry….
It “shows enormous vitality and almost a Cubist approach”
“The painting is very mature and energetic, there’s a lot of life there……it lifts you and there’s something fun and joyful about it”.
A two page article in the magazine about Sarah and her painting was published in June 2005.
